Today’s Delight of the Day is a beautiful pair of loafers – the Panto2 from Nine West, $79. I love the classic preppy look of these loafers! Adding a crest to an already-classic design pretty much ensures a preppy purchase. What do you think?
Today’s Delight of the Day is the Full Mini Skirt in Mint from Asos, $42.58. I adore this skirt! The color is incredible, and the cut is adorable. You can dress it up or make it casual, depending on the function to which you wear it. I’m going to try to wear this skirt as much as possible before fall!
Today’s Delight of the Day is the Bradshaw Chronograph Watch from Michael Kors, $134. I love the rose gold watches from MK, but the oversized ones are waaay too big for my wrist. I like the leather band on this particular model; it makes it so timeless!
Edit: It has been brought to my attention that this watch sold out today! Imagine the luck. While I can’t find this exact watch, I found one with a snake skin leather band here.
Today’s Delight of the Day is the Milkshake Things Up Dress from Modcloth, $89.99. I love the classic, sweetheart neckline and polka dots, which give this dress an amazing retro feel. Where would you wear it?
Also, the winner of my Southernly Stated SEC shirt giveaway is Courtney Wolfe! Congrats, Courtney!
Today’s Delight of the Day is the Short Sleeve Boat Shoes, Bow Ties, & American T-Shirt from Anchored Style, $30. What prepster doesn’t love boat shoes, bow ties, and America? And what better to show your pride than with an American-made t-shirt? Yep, I couldn’t think of anything else either.
If you recall, the Delight of the Day from a couple of weeks ago was the Polka Dot Cashmere Sweater from J.Crew, $268. While at my local mall, I discovered that Old Navy has polka dot sweaters that look practically identical at only a fraction of the cost! Unfortunately, the green is no longer available on the web, but your local Old Navy should still have it!
Today’s Delight of the Day is the Brandy Melville Large Striped Duffle in Navy/White, $72. I’m always looking for bags for travel, and I love the nautical feel of this one. This will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Charleston!
Let’s face it: sometimes being preppy can get expensive. While we like to save money here and there (that sweater doesn’t need to be thrown away just because it has a hole! Sew on cute elbow patches!), when it comes down to the essentials, we like to buy the best. However, as a recent college grad who’s trying to save up for a new car and a new laptop (PC or Mac?!), I can’t always afford the best.
For instance, one of my favorite preppy trends that I have yet to try out is the smoking slipper, mainly because brands like Stubbs & Wootton charge $400 for theirs. Luckily for all of us, I found affordable loafers on Gap‘s website, and, at $39.95, you can afford to get several pairs! Which pair would you wear?
It’s almost that time of year again, and, honestly, who doesn’t love back to school shopping? It’s super weird being a post grad and not going to find all kinds of cute school supplies. Thankfully, I have all my lovely followers for whom to shop! I’ve chosen my favorite preppy supplies and some adorable totes so you can head to class in style.

Today’s Delights of the Day are the ACC and SEC Tanks by Southernly Stated, $20. They read, “Love God, Sweet Tea, and the SEC/ACC.” Preps are all about school pride, and these cute tanks allow you to showcase that pride in a cute, sratty way. I can’t wait to order the ACC tank (Pitt joined this year! Woohoo!).
Southernly Stated is super awesome and is giving away one lucky reader their choice of an SEC tank or t-shirt. The t-shirts come in your team’s colors, and they’re also really adorable. Good luck choosing! You’ll have to go to my Facebook page to use the Rafflecopter, which keeps tracks of entries.
